Mbah Nur Kebumen (2011)

Mbah Nur - Kyai Haji Nurchamid, born in Kebumen Central Java, 1921. He lives in Wonoyoso Bumirejo Kebumen Central Java. He is one of kyai sepuh (the oldest kyai) in Kebumen. His life is dedicated much for Islamic education in Salafiyah Wonoyoso Kebumen and also NU (Nahdlatul Ulama) - an Islamic organization built by KH.Hasyim Asy'ari. 
When he was still young, he studied in some pesantren, like pondok       ( اَلْفُنْدُوقْ ) Binayu - near Buayan Kebumen, Watucongol Magelang, Jampes East Java, and the others. 
After that, he came back - muqim ( مُقيم) - and tought  in Wonoyoso helping his senior kyai - Kyai Haji Achmad Nashicha. Then on 1953, they also built an Islamic school - madrasah, that is called now as Madrasah Salafiyah Wonoyoso. Nowadays he only teaches in Pengajian Selasa Setu Salafiyah Wonoyoso Kebumen.
Because of his age and seniority, he is called Mbah ( like grandfather).
